Mohsen Talani, MD

Founder of the IMM Technique™, International Lecturer, Author, and Manual Therapy Advocate.

Graduating from medical school at a young age, he became a registered doctor in his home country of Iran. After years of practice, he immigrated to Canada to expand his knowledge and work towards a Masters Degree in Neuroscience at McGill University.

Talani had achieved a thorough understanding of the biomechanics of the human body from a conventional standpoint, and sought to gain further knowledge elsewhere.

Although he believed that western medicine is effective in combating the symptoms of most conditions, it often ignored the underlying cause. Simply alleviating a patient’s complaints was not nearly the same as curing them. This led him to begin his research into the viability of Alternative Medicine and Manual Therapy as forms of treatment.

As his passion for Manual Therapy grew, so did his connections with therapists and students. For over 15 years, Talani has taught and trained thousands of students in the fields of Manual Therapy such as Massage Therapy, Physical Therapy, Osteopathy, and Sports Therapy.

His research, as well as his experience in teaching and treatment, has led him to develop the IMM Technique™, which is offered through his popular courses in Canada & United States.

Talani believes that many diseases, conditions, defects, disabilities, and misalignments can be treated  without the use of potentially harmful drugs. Rather than taking a symptom-based approach to healing patients, he strongly advocates the notion of systematically understanding the causes and imbalances of musculoskeletal conditions and treating them through Manual Therapy and lifestyle changes.
